D.O.N. Bureau is a consultancy that focuses primarily on multidisciplinary projects in the infrastructure market. It does this within the fields of electrical engineering, control engineering, mechanical engineering, hydraulics and general management and process control. In general, D.O.N. Bureau acts as an "intermediary between strategy and operation" on the interface between design and implementation. From strategic idea to operational concept, from definition to design and implementation. D.O.N. Bureau was established on 1 May 2006.

D.O.N. Bureau is able to translate complex questions into a pragmatic application. To do this, aids and methodologies are required. Some of these methodologies have proven their worth, while others need to be developed from the ground up. D.O.N. Bureau translates these methodologies into a pragmatic concept suited to your organisation. Examples include the FMECA methodology developed and applied by D.O.N. Bureau and the application of the NEN 2767 [CEN 319] inspections within large maintenance contracts. In the course of this work, D.O.N. Bureau seeks a durable relationship with its clients.

D.O.N Bureau’s customers include governmental and quasi-governmental organisations such as Rijkswaterstaat (the executive agency of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment), Gemeentewerken (the Department of Public Works), Schiphol (Amsterdam Airport) and regional water boards. In addition, D.O.N. Bureau has worked for various engineering firms and consultancies.
